I am in network with most commercial insurance plans. Most insurance plans cover nutritional counseling at 100 percent without a copay!

How do I determine if my insurance company will cover nutritional counseling? 

 

A representative can verify your benefits when you call member services. Please provide them with the CPT code 97802/97803 and diagnostic code Z71.3. Please also include a secondary diagnostic code (the reason you are seeking nutritional counseling).

In order to use your nutrition benefits with Aetna and United Healthcare, documentation of a medical diagnosis must be provided and uploaded to the client portal prior to your appointment. A form to have completed by your Dr. will be provided to you once your appointment has been scheduled.

It is the clients responsibility to verify benefit prior to their appointment.

What if I do not have insurance or I am out of network?

 

An initial visit is $140 and follow ups are $70. All major credit cards are accepted.

​

Please provide at least a 24 hour notice of any scheduled appointment you can not attend. Failure to do so will result in a charge for the entire session.
