I really try to avoid buying/eating store bought granola and cereal bars for several reasons:
1) The are loaded with extra sugar
2) They often contain processed soy and protein derivatives
3) They are overpriced
I have posted recipes for homemade bars in the past, but I think these bites are a great alternative, and slightly more convenient to store and travel with. For me, most of these ingredients are staples in my pantry, making this an accessible snack anytime. If you are looking for the perfect afternoon snack, or on-the-go breakfast you need to whip these bad boys up!
